Review: TylerCruz.com

I discovered TylerCruz.com back when shoemoney mentioned him winning the Market Leverage cashinator.  Tyler has a nice blog design, and it is attractive.  He basically blogs about making money online.

However, since I subscribed a couple months ago, I have noticed nearly all of the posts he makes are ‘Paid Reviews’, which he gets $175 for per review (per blog post).  This has really driven me away from reading his blog via TylerCruz.com, or by email via subscription.

Tyler, if you read this, please, enough with the paid reviews, or at least minimize them.  They are taking over your blog.  I want to read and learn, but instead, all I see is you reviewing websites that want some attention.  Because of this, it makes me wonder if you’re doing it for money, since they are all paid reviews.

Of course I’m doing the paid reviews for money. I’m not rich you know…

However I understand that too many paid reviews can repel people which is why I keep raising the price. However, even though I keep raising it advertisers keep purchasing it. Hopefully the raise to $175 will slow them down. If not, I’ll raise it again until demand dies down so I can get back to more informative posts.

Tyler, yes, I understand, and I can’t blame you. My suggestion would be for every paid review, do at least like one or two regular posts. I can’t blame you for accepted $175 for a post, however, when that is all the blog is about, it becomes overwhelming. I’d like to see more information content, and less paid content that teaches nothing. Just my suggestion(s) though.

I do… I only posted one paid review so far this month and 5 out of the 18 posts of last month were paid reviews.

This is higher than normal, usually the most I’ll get in a month is 4.

Well, I guess that depends on how you define ‘regular post’. It seems I’m reading more about affiliate challenges and paid reviews than informational reading. However, it is your blog, and you’re doing well with it, so it is up to you. Just giving my two cents. Best of luck to you.
