Increased Google Rank

A little over a week ago, I mentioned how one of my sites was ‘de-ranked’ from Google.  The site in particular was making a decent amount of advertising money from Adsense.  The earnings dropped by around 70% once the search engine traffic went away, since the SE traffic was a large portion of the site.

Since this time, I have been able to regain the #1 rank but simply adding more content to the site.  It took around a week to regain the #1 rank, and at the same time, I took the #1 rank for around 30 more, low-searched keywords, increasing my traffic even more than it was before being de-ranked.  It looks like the recent change in Google’s algorithm helped out that particular since, and didn’t really hurt it as I initially thought.
